Shattered And Hollow
He felt shattered
and hollow
as he climbed
the mountain.
He remembered
every place on the
mountain where they
had made love, all the
words that were whispered
in the dark while laying
by the campfire.
He remembered it all,
but she was gone,
no longer here,
and he was
shattered and hollow.
