Walt, it seems you have a true gift for Haiku!!! Please keep it up! Happy to hear you are going to give us a Tuesday and Thursday of haiku!!! Yippee! This was a really great one! Love the Beach Boys and that era – Youth! Ha!! This brought a smile to me! Bravo!!!

I hope it will inspire you to write more Haiku’s. I love to write them. I would think that they would especially fit your spirit as a drummer? Tapping out 5, 7, 5!!! Ha!

It is interesting that you put it that way. I always try to make sure all my poems have rhythm. That is definitely the drummer in me. ☺

Thank you so much Wulf! I say your comment on Bojana’s comment and I am listening to her. People have responded well to my Haikus, so next week I’m going to try Tuesdays and Thursdays as Tennessee Poet Haiku Days. We’ll see how it goes. 🙂

I think that we are both breaking new ground and people are enjoying something different from us. I think it surprises them. Our followers have gotten used to the way we write, and then BAM, we hit them with Haikus!
