The Adventures Of Wandering Walt, The Tennessee Poet
The day began with A touch of perfect. The beautiful
September sunrise brought back memories of Plump and
provocative women I had known in my life.
I was remembering an article about Taco telepathy,
which supposedly made everything seem Woodland White
I had Saucy suspicions that it was a plot created by the
Imperial units. They ruled this planet with no mercy. If
you were captured you were sentenced to 5 years of
Dances with dust mites and Early morning mishaps.
I was walking along Blue pencil boulevard when I came
upon a street vendor. He had gizmos a plenty, but looked
Sneaky and cheeky. He had a book for sale titled
The Mystery of Milmonyville, written by Violet Stone.
I had once ready the book once and it was filled
with my kind of Pesky perversions.
Time was moving Faster than a fortnight and I didn’t want
to be Covered in cornmeal on Alligator Alley. I remembered
the music of the Dotted Dimensions while eating Peppered
steak. I had been celebrating The absence of her as the band
played The sounds of silver lights.
As I came to my senses, I saw the Twisty tops of the clouds.
My wilting efforts at gardening had reminded me of the
Sweet vibrations caused by all of the Yellow umbrellas
open in the rain. My garden had been a disaster, filled
with Putrid plants and inquisitive ants, with just a
hint of mint. I had tried but failed, because of a case of
the pucchips, a rare plant disease, and a never satisfied
case of my Concupiscent callings.
The moral of this story: Let your writing take
you to places that you normally don’t go.
