Just a lost, lonely soul
Wandering
Nowhere special to go
Leaving behind
A trail of dreams
Somewhere he lost connection
And ran out of words to write
A lonely old poet
Alone in his thoughts
Drowning in a sea of dreams
He wishes things were different
That he could be brand new
That the words he loved
Would come again
That he hadn’t lost his way
But wishing never changes things
Time keeps rolling along
So he just keeps on wandering
Along his trail of dreams

A poet never loses his words, though he may remain silent for a period of time. Dreams continue and so will the words. I’m rambling, but I know you understand what I mean. Beautiful, my friend 😊❤️

The speaker may believe that he has lost his words, but to me, they are clearly here, strong and clear and sure.

This is a universal piece, Walt, and your voice is getting stronger. I know you’ve come to like some of the musical pieces I did. Here is an older Reboot I posted before you started checking out my blog, that has a connection.

Sad and lovely, Walt. As you wander, you see, and as you see, the words bloom.
