Anywhere, Anyplace, Anytime
Writing poetry can be done
Anytime, anyplace and anytime
When a word or phrase starts
Rolling around in my mind and
Intrigues me
I stop what I’m doing
And start adding words and phrases
I’ll start writing notes
As they enter my mind
Adding words and thoughts
There is no form yet
Just random words that had
Entered my mind
As I studied the words and phases
Pieces slowly started fitting together
Forming into poetry
I would then leave it alone
For a few days
Coming back to it and reworking it
Into a finished poem

Nicely done Walt. I think we all do this to some extent.

I love it when the words keep coming, even o n a busy day. Or rather especially on a busy day. I scribble on a piece of paper, and gather my thoughts together later!
