Everyday Miracles

With the rising
Of the morning sun
We witness
This magical artwork
Frosted snowflakes
On a windshield
Colored red
By the sun
God’s artwork
One of His everyday miracles

As poets, we all look for inspiration for our next poem.
I was inspired by this lovely photo posted a few days ago on
Facebook by a very talented young horse trainer, Jacqueline
Donahue Zacharias. Originally from Seymour, TN, Jacqueline
is now married and lives in Pryor, OK with her husband Sid.
We first got to know Jacqueline as a teenager when we were
involved with the Youth and Yearling Mustang Challenge.
She went on to be the Youth Champion in the 2015
Mustang Million competition. Jacqueline has experienced
many everyday miracles in her young life.

  1. Walt, this post is enchanting. How wonderful a human you are, to observe, to compose in rhyme, to be so grateful, and, to give credit where it is due – something many writers have yet to learn, unfortunately. You’re a magical human and I am drawn to your posts like a moth to a flame!
