There are times in our lives
When we have nothing to say
We can’t find the words
No matter how hard we try
Is is because we are ashamed?
Scared? Nervous? Guilty?
So many thoughts that won’t form into words
The fear that we might say the wrong thing
The fear that our words will be ridiculed
That our words will fall on deaf ears
That they will be taken the wrong way
So we write our thoughts
Instead of speaking them
We all write words for when we have
Nothing to say

Perfection! Is this not the poet’s mind? I don’t speak- I just pick up my pen ……when I can’t speak

Oh Walt, you took the words right out of my mouth, for me there are so many times that I can’t find the words to say. I’ve had my problems, both physical and mental, but sometimes I’m just hopeless, so here I am, trying to tell you by writing it down,,,, aah, so much easier for me, hehe….

Most of those words would probably make some feel sad but others divinely elated.
