What shall I write about today?
So many inspirations

shall I write about the weather?
too easy

shall I write about myself?
You already know everything about me

shall I write abut politics?
No way!!

Let’s see… how about love?
You know I’m just an old romantic poet

How about death… pain… illness??
too dreary… have already done that

shall I write about my wife?
I’ve already written several hundred poems about her

so… we’re talking about today
should I take a day off?

I’ll leave it up to you
what would you like me to write about today?
