So God Made A Lollipop

A long time ago
When the world was still young
God looked down and smiled
At what he had done

“Something is missing”
He said with a smile
And he started to dig
Through his ideas pile

“It’s candy!”, He said to Himself
As He thought for awhile
“Something that people won’t have to chew”
So He made it for me and He made it for you

He called it a Lollipop, sweet through and through
Put on a stick so there’s no need to chew
And when He was done, He said with a smile
“I made it for everyone, but this one’s for you.”
