The Day Will Come

The Day Will Come

the day will come
when our minds
are not as sharp

when our fingers
are too weak
to hold a pen

when it is difficult
to walk
when our breathing
becomes more difficult

when our memories
come and go

but until that day comes
we will keep creating our poems
for we are poets
