Mother Mountain
Mother Mountain
take my hand
lead me past the barren lands
free me from these aches and pains
teach me the magic of the candles
that you use to light your way
show me how to close my eyes
and wake here in the morning
take me home on my birthday
oh, the celebration we could have
so many years of wandering this earth
the sights I have seen
the music I’ve heard and played
I’ve been blessed in my life
and I’m looking forward
to the next years of my life
on Mother Mountain
