The Certainties Of My Life

My life is filled with certainties
some good, some bad

my undying love for my wife Susan
her never ending love for me
both are certainties that are two
of my life constants

living with chronic and constant pain
are at the top of my list
of unwanted certainties

death is a certainty we all live with
as is the power of prayer and faith

I will never give up
I will never quit
I will never stop enjoying my life

these are the certainties of my life
