The Girl With The Butterfly Eyes

It was a beauty I had never seen before
fluttering slowly before me
her eyes were beautiful
and pierced my soul

I had heard the legend
from the villagers
but had found it
hard to believe until now

her eyes had a hypnotic effect
and I knew I was falling in love
I felt myself being wrapped in her warmth
and when I came to, the metamorphosis was complete

I had changed into a butterfly
one of her choosing and creation
we flew into the sunset together
to live our lives as one
