No Place Like You

In 76 years of living
I’ve been to a lot of places
and seen a lot of things
but I have never found
a place like you

I’ve been on the tops of mountains
and been swimming in the deep blue sea
but they will never compare
to a place like you

I’ve stood at the edge of the Grand Canyon
watched Old Faithful blow its top
ridden in an old west stagecoach
and been robbed by outlaws

I have rappelled down a 60′ tower
when I was 70 years old
I’ve played in rock bands, trios
quartets, big bands and marching bands

but what I have enjoyed the most
is dancing with you
