As I Breathe

As I breathe
I am thankful
For the love of my wife
For the music I love
For the poetry I’m able to write
And for my family and friends
I am thankful
For those who read my poetry
And follow my poetry blog
for our horse, Teaka
And for our 9 dogs
I am thankful
That my health is improving
That my COPD has not worsened
And that I’m able to breathe
