Demons Of The Night

My demons were busy last night
They decided I needed
To stay awake

My legs were restless
Thanks to their
Mini cramps in my left leg

My lower back
Kept letting me know
The pain pill was wearing off

My abdominal hernia
Decided to be grumbly

Demons are nasty
Poking and prodding
Giving no relief
Until they have had their fun

Only just before dawn
Will they let you fall asleep
