I Will Write

I will write
Until I can’t see the page
Until my fingers can’t hold a pen
Until my words start appearing backwards
Until nothing I write makes any sense

I will write
Until I run out of words
Until my heart says “stop”
Until I have lost my desire
Until my words mean nothing to me

I will write
Until I can no longer hear the music
Until nothing any longer inspires me
Until creativity no longer flows through my veins

I will write until the words no longer need me
