That’s Where I Call Home ~ Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Wherever the wind blows
That’s where I call home
I ride the clouds

High above the mountains
Safe and dry
Above the rainy weather

I can hear the thunder
I watch the lightning
Light the sky below me
I watch the snowfall
Cover the rooftops
As children wait for Santa
On Christmas Eve
Birds ride the wind with me

Safe from the storms below
I ride the wind
Wherever it blows
That’s where I call home
