Halloween Memories ~ Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Tonight is the night
Of the Demons Of Darkness
You probably think
That they are just children
Dressed up in costumes
To give you a fright
They dress up like Chuckie
A vampire or a werewolf
Count Dracula and Igor
Ghosts and Goblins
Tonight is their night
Better be sure to have
Plenty of candy
For if you run out
You won’t see tomorrow
It’s called Trick or Treat
For a very good reason
The trick is to survive
If you turn off your lights
For they all know that’s a sign
That you have run out of Treats
Happy Halloween and Good Luck!
