Fentress County, Tennessee
A Small distressed county in Middle Tennessee

Small towns, small minds
Typical small town politics
It’s a dry county – no alcohol
Overflowing with used car lots,
Churches, and Fast Food
If you want to experience the
The thrill of being labeled
An Outsider”, move to Fentress County
Not much to do here
Only one single screen movie theater
Bingo at Senior Center
Horseback riding trails at the Big South
Fork National River and Recreation Area.
Boating at Dale Hollow Lake
But there’s a world going on outside
The country we live in
Country music and Bluegrass abounds
The Fentress County Fair, Demolition Derbies,
Horse and Mule Shows, Mule Pulls
The World Famous 127 Show, almost
700 miles of bumper to bumper yard sales
Every early August
And less than 2 hours from Nashville!
So relax, it’s sunrise in Fentress County again!
