Winds of change are blowing
Blowing through our country
Blowing through our world
And we will never be the same
But we will be better
Am I worried? Hell yes!
I’m almost 76 years old
With heart and lung conditions
You bet your ass I’m scared!
But not for me, for my family
I like to think that God will keep me around
A few more years, but whatever happens, happens
I’ve lived a good life
And no damn virus can take that away from me
I’ve done things I never should have done
And paid dearly for them
I have lived and I have loved
And I have been loved
By two incredibly beautiful women
My life is not over
And I will not let this virus win!

You are right, Walt, and we are all leave blowing about in the wind. Who knows where we will land, but hopefully it will be a soft one.

Yes, the winds of change.
“Blowing through our world
And we will never be the same”
Let’s hope we choose to let love lead the way as we grow ourselves forward.
