A Lost Cause ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

It’s always there
Reminding me
Taunting me
Haunting me
It controls me
Drains me
It pisses me off
But it doesn’t care
How it affects me
Because it knows
It knows that
There is nothing
I can do about it
It knows
It can’t be cured
It can’t be fixed
I hear it
Laughing at me
Everyday it gets a little worse
But every day I keep going
Hoping
Always hoping

    1. I’m sorry Robbie… I have to write what I feel because it helps me. It was full of typos which I fixed. I removed the last two lines, because I am hopeful and I will get through it. Thank you for helping me. It means more than you know. Not to worry, I’m really OK my friend. Call it poetic license to create an impact πŸ™‚ ❀
