Questions Remain ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

All that remain
Are questions
Maybe it’s better
Not to know the answers

I’m alive
Is that not enough?
My mind is sound
I have my poetry
My music
The love of my wife
Is that not enough?

I’ve lived 75 good years
And look forward to more
Everyone has their own questions
Answers to the same question
Are always different

I have my answers
So no more questions
I will live the rest of my life
And enjoy the time I have left
