Voices In The Rain ~ A Poem by Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

I hear them
More and more
All the time
Calling my name
And then it stops
And I only hear
Raindrops
Blowing against the window
But I know
They are there
Watching and waiting
It’s a game we play
On rainy nights
When I write my poetry
And I listen to
The voices in the rain

      1. I’m going better than expected Walt, The second stroke a few weeks ago, mentally took the stuffing out of me, but I’ve fortunately regained my belief that I can still go to America, and I’m feeling ok….
