I’m walking through the rest of my life
A little bent over, quite a sight to see
And even though I ain’t pain free
I’m alive and walking
And that’s good enough for me
Maybe someday I won’t be me
But I’ll cross that bridge
When it comes to me
I walk through the night
Just my music and me
That lonely train whistle calls to me
Telling me that the truth will set me free
But I ain’t waiting around to see
I’m living for today, not yesterday
I’m heading for tomorrow
So I’ll keep on walking
Just a little bent over
Quite a sight to see

It doesn’t matter if you are upright or bend over as long as you keep moving forward! Great poem!

Great poem Walt. Sometimes, I think these things happen to us to force us to slow down, to pay attention. Love you my friend. 🙂

This reads like a song to me, Walt. Of course, songs are poems set to music.

I hear a good chiropractor can put you right back into shape: just a twist and a pull, then a loud snap.

Jesus Sheldon! I just got a sharp pain! No snapping allowed, lol!
