She Knows – A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

As the sun rises each morning
And the break of dawn casts its glow
She knows
When he takes her hand
And holds it in his
She knows
No words are spoken
His eyes say it all
She sees it, feels it
And she knows
When she gets home after work
And he’s waiting in the rain
Holding an umbrella
She knows
As the sun slowly sets
At the end of each day
She knows
Nothing else matters to me
I always makes sure
That she knows

      1. You’re welcome Walt. You must not have read my recent posts. I am holding on day by day since Dad passed away on Saturday night. I keep trying to pop in here and write a little to get my mind right. Thanks for asking!

      2. Oh Leigha… I am so sorry dear friend. Please forgive me… I am so far behind in reading 😦 I wish I had better words to say, but I know nothing can really stop the pain of loss. Just know that you are in my thouhts and prayers. Hugs & Love…
