Obsessed – A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

I am obsessed with her
The fire in her eyes
Is like a beach bonfire in summer
Her kiss is seductive
As sweet as the taste of Tupelo honey
She has this way
Of nibbling on my lower lip
Like it was a piece of milk chocolate
My heart rate increases
My thoughts get twisted
My knees get weak
My toes curl
And then
I wake up
She is my dream lover
My wife
And I am obsessed with her

      1. I know so many who are really struggling with health issues! Sorry to hear you are too, my friend. I am fighting my way back! I hope you are taking care of YOU! I only recently came back to blogging after a month completely off, I missed many posts too, But I’m glad I made it back for this one! ~Kim

  1. Been a long way since I’ve felt that way! But to replace that is the warm, wordless exchange of love and bonding I have with my husband. Maybe with a touch of “As sweet as the taste of Tupelo honey.”
