A Life Worth Living – A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet0

It’s the little things
The simple unexpected things
That make life worth living
The kindness of a stranger
A hug from a child
A love song on the radio
Favorite poets and poems
The kiss of a breeze
On a hot summer day
Staring at the sunset
From a walk on a beach
An “I love you” from my wife
Slurpy kisses from my dogs
Powerful drum beats
Dreams of Scotland
Memories triggered by a song
When a poem writes itself

To live a life worth living
Is why I am a poet
