I’m standing on the edge of reality
Wondering how all this had come to be
Searching back through my years of memories
Hoping to find out what had happened to me
Realizing life holds no guarantees
On this adventure through our eternity
Sometimes we’re in agony as we travel around our galaxy
But we’re always aware our end will be heavenly
We constantly work on our legacy
Hoping our destiny is not one of blasphemy
So our lives become our melody
Our never ending, honestly written rhapsody

This is wonderful, Walt. I felt the drummer in you with the rhythm of this one. I really, really adore this last line: “Our never ending, honestly written rhapsody”
