The Flowing Words – A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Putting it all on paper
Writing it down
Watching
As the words flow onto the page
Letting them go where they want
Words forming phrases
Phrases forming images
Working together
Forming magical poetry
Word after word
Thought after thought
Letting my heart guide my pen
Creating dreams
Banishing fears
Keeping it readable
Keeping it real
Writing in darkness
Bu the light of a scented candle
Making it through the night
With the flowing words
And the poetry I write

    1. Yes I do Robbie. When I wake in the middle of the night, I light a scented candle and place it on the table and start writing. A lot of my writing is done at night or very early morning. I also do all my writing with a gel pen in a lined spiral notebook. When I feel it is ready. I type it to Open Office Writer for any editing, spell check, etc., and to find an appropriate image. Then I cut and paste it to WordPress, apply tags and schedule it. I know it sounds like a lot of extra work, and it is, but I get to check it during each phase.

      1. No worries, my friend. I know how hectic life can be. I’ve been missing out on some things too. Turns out in addition to the migraines, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc. I apparently have fibromgalgia, which is just making everything worse. So, life is mostly painful, but I’m doing my best.
